MATERIAL OVERVIEW

The Material

Amethyst Cluster consists of multiple amethyst quartz crystals growing together, often on a natural matrix. Crystal colour can range from pale lavender to deeper purple, with natural variation in crystal size, transparency, density, and direction.

Where natural crystal surfaces are combined with carved or polished areas, the finished piece shows a strong contrast between sharp crystal faces and smooth worked surfaces. Crystal points and matrix boundaries remain more vulnerable to impact than solid polished stone.
