MATERIAL OVERVIEW

The Material

Clear Quartz is a transparent to translucent quartz material that may contain natural veils, internal fractures, growth features, fluid inclusions, or other mineral inclusions. Clarity and internal character can vary considerably from piece to piece.

A high polish can produce a bright, glass-like surface while still leaving internal features visible through the finished carving. Natural fractures, inclusions, thin edges, and fine carved details require careful handling.
