MATERIAL OVERVIEW

The Material

Ivory Jade is a non-standard trade name used for pale cream to ivory-coloured carving stone. The Arcane Skull material is described as relatively even in colour with subtle cloudy variation and a soft, bright polished appearance.

Because the trade name does not identify one specific mineral or rock, the material should not be described as jadeite or nephrite without testing. Finished pieces are best represented through their visible colour, polish, and natural variation.
