MATERIAL OVERVIEW

The Material

Red Jasper is a silica-rich jasper material typically showing brick red, rust red, deep red, and related earthy tones. Its colour is commonly associated with iron-bearing components, while natural patterning and tonal variation differ from piece to piece.

The dense material can take a smooth polish that strengthens the visual contrast between darker and lighter areas. Natural fractures and thin carved details still require care.
