MATERIAL OVERVIEW

The Material

Tiger Eye is a quartz-rich gemstone material known for golden, honey-brown, and deep brown fibrous bands that can produce a moving cat's-eye effect as the viewing angle changes. The strength and direction of this optical effect depend on the orientation of the material.

Curved polished surfaces can emphasize the moving light band and the contrast between darker and lighter fibres. The optical effect is angle-dependent and should not be expected to appear uniformly from every direction.
